The two-day international conference focusing on wooden construction and architecture will be held in Helsinki, with side events organised around the capital region. Archinfo will curate architecture programme for the conference.

The conference’s purpose is to compile a current overview of the leading projects in wood construction and wood product research in Finland and elsewhere. The strengths of Finnish development activities are digitality extending from processes to production, and high-quality wood products processed highly innovatively.

The conference also gathers a comprehensive overview of other internationally interesting themes of Finnish wood construction. Finnish contemporary architecture and design are world-class success products. At the conference, we will highlight the infrastructure of the world’s happiest nation. Its roots are in the forests.

The language of the conference is English.
