Tampere Architecture and Design Week 2024

Tampere Architecture and Design Week TAD Week brings a diverse programme of architecture, design, urban planning and living urban culture events to Tampere from 27 September to 4 October.
TAD Week is a colourful mix of interesting, inspiring and topical seminars, exhibitions and workshops, as well as unique venues and open doors.
The theme of Tampere Architecture and design week 2024 is resilience. In todays fast changing world, flexibility and crisis resilience are essential qualities for designing sustainable products, buildings and cities. Disasters and conflicts require both adaptation and active take on reconstruction. We need safe environments, that serve people and communities, and repairable products that save resources. According to this years theme ‘resilience’, TAD Week 2024 events and exhibitions open up a discussion about how we can improve our environment through the means of architecture and design in the midst of change and crises.
The annual TAD Week programme is open to all, and events are mostly free of charge.
