Copenhagen Architecture Biennial 2025

The theme of the Copenhagen Architecture Biennial, Slow Down, explores architecture in relation to time and challenges fast and unsustainable design to slow down, encouraging mindful choices.

The inaugural edition of the biennial opens on September 18, 2025, across venues in Copenhagen. Its diverse programme will engage both industry professionals and the public through exhibitions, symposia, talks, guided tours, film screenings, social events, studio visits, and more.

Founded by CAFx, the new biennial will take over from the yearly festival format, the previous Copenhagen Architecture Festival established in 2014.
