Architecture Speaks: Malin Blomqvist
Malin Blomqvist
In the tenth season of the Architecture Speaks lecture series, running from November to January, six architects or architectural groups are invited to share insights into their design processes and their roles in the world of architecture.
Malin Blomqvist / Masu planning
Malin Blomqvist is a landscape architect and one of the two founding partners in MASU Planning based both in Denmark and Finland. Malin works with landscape architecture on all scales, especially in urban contexts with a focus on site-specific, sustainable, and long-lasting solutions. With a great love of materiality and texture, she challenges persistent, common materials, compositions, and uses, with authentic and innovative landscape spaces as a result. She operates with an open-minded approach to the premises of every site and project.
“Malin Blomqvist's open minded approach to every new task is inspiring. With a great love of materiality and texture, she challenges persistent, common materials, emphasizing the biodiversity of tomorrow”, says Jenni Reuter.
