Architecture Speaks: Arnhildur Pálmadóttir

A portrait of a woman

In the tenth season of the Architecture Speaks lecture series, running from November to January, six architects or architectural groups are invited to share insights into their design processes and their roles in the world of architecture.

Architect Arnhildur Pálmadóttir runs the Icelandic branch of the Danish architecture and innovation company Lendager, which specialises in sustainability and circularity in construction by designing buildings with half the carbon footprint of conventional buildings. Lendager represents a sustainable mindset within the profession.

“Lendager specialises in circularity in construction by designing buildings with half the carbon footprint of conventional buildings. They represent a much needed sustainable mindset within the profession. Their executed projects stand as examples of how we should build in the future”, says Jenni Reuter.
