New calls to support the co-creation of sustainable lifestyles and public spaces
The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) has launched two New European Bauhaus calls. The calls focus on citizen activism and improving public spaces.
The Citizen Engagement Activities call focuses on involving the public in identifying and solving local challenges. The aim is to encourage citizens to develop new products, services or solutions that support sustainable lifestyles. Applicants can be private or public legal entities. Funding is available up to €15 000 and the project can be fully financed by the grant without any self-funding.
The Co-Creation of Public Space through Citizen Engagement call supports projects that develop practical, innovative solutions to improve urban and rural public spaces in a citizen-centred way. Key themes include strengthening the relationship with nature, inclusion and equality, and the transition to a circular economy. Applicants can be, for example, municipalities and cities. The consortium must have between two and four partners. Funding for a single project can amount to €45 000 and the project can be fully funded by the grant.
Applications are due on 29th of May. Information sessions on the calls will be held on 26.4. Registration for the information sessions is open until 21.4.
