International Union of Architects (UIA) has launched a new .archi domain accessible only to architects and to their organisations. Through .archi, UIA seeks to uphold its commitment to protect architects, to defend their interests and their independence and to promote their profession. To accord with the new domain service, UIA has moved its own internet site at www.uia.archi.
Among the more than 300 new internet extensions since the beginning of the year 2014, from .academy to .webcam, the architectural profession is today the only one to speak up in defence of its values and its members on the web.
