Archinfo Finland’s summer campaign calls for photos of happy encounters between old and new architecture

Archinfo Finland’s summer campaign highlights examples of happy co-living of old and new in Finnish architecture. We call for photos of projects where a younger building takes its neighbours into account to form successful architectural encounters.
Take part in the campaign by posting your photo on your Instagram account with a short description of why this is a good example and the hashtag #ArchitecturalEncounters. Remember to include the name of the photographer and the place where the photo was taken and, if known, the name of the architect and the year of completion.

We will
The campaign is open until 20 August 2019, after which we will announce the winning photo. The winner will be awarded The Building of Finland (in English, Swedish or Finnish), an extensive book on the architecture of the 100-years-old welfare state, edited by Harri Hautajärvi and published by Rakennustieto Publishing. The winner will be contacted personally.
