Locus Foundation awards Marco Casagrande with the Global Award for Sustainable Architecture

Marco Casagrande is one of the five awardees of the Global Award for Sustainable Architecture 2015. Casagrande (b. 1971) is an internationally accalaimed Finnish architect, environmental artist and architectural theorist. He is the principal of the Casagrande Laboratory based in Finland and together with Hsieh Ying-Chun and Roan Ching-Yueh a partner of WEAK! based in Taiwan. The other Global Award for Sustainable Architecture winners this year are the Talca School of Architecture (Talca, Chile); Santiago Cirugeda, Recetas Urbanas (Sevilla, Spain); Jahn Gehl (Copenhagen, Denmark); and Rotor (Brussels, Belgium).The Global Award for Sustainable Architecture is awarded by the LOCUS Foundation.
