Wood architecture is an important teaching and research subject at the Department of Architecture, integrating high-quality building design and innovative technical solutions with a growing emphasis on sustainability (e.g. carbon neutrality and circular economy). The department has a long history in teaching and research of wood architecture, for instance through a special Wood Program.
