Architecture Student – Apply to intern at a world-class architecture event!
Anna Rusi
In connection with the Finnish exhibition at the 2025 Venice Biennale of Architecture, we are organising an international internship programme. Aimed at students of architecture, landscape architecture and interior architecture, the internship will offer a front-row seat to one of the largest events in the field – and the chance to live in the magical city of Venice!
Archinfo invites students from Aalto University, University of Oulu, and Tampere University to apply for an unique internship opportunity at the Pavilion of Finland during the 2025 Venice Biennale of Architecture. Interns can earn study credit from their university.
During the ten-week internship, the interns will work as exhibition personnel at the Pavilion of Finland and present the exhibition curated by Ella Kaara and Matti Jänkälä to international audiences. Tasks include overseeing the exhibition space in the pavilion building designed by Alvar Aalto, showcasing and explaining the exhibition to the public and assisting with communications. At the same time, interns will have the opportunity to delve into the architecture of Venice and the surrounding Giardini Pavilion Park, as well as explore the exhibitions and programme of the world’s largest architecture event.
Now in its third year, the internship programme not only provides practical experience in international event production and audience development, but also the opportunity to network and experience life in Venice.
The application period for the internship program is open until December 8. More information and application instructions can be found at this link.
The 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale opens to the public on 10 May 2025 and will remain open until 23 November. Italian architect Carlo Ratti, curator of the Biennale, has chosen the theme of the upcoming 19th Architecture Exhibition "Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective." According to the curator, known as an expert in urban planning, the Architecture Biennale will take a broad look at the built environment and the many disciplines that shape it.
