The conference highlights the role and the importance that women play in contemporary architecture. Finnish female architects illustrate contemporary projects and present their approach and design philosophy within the themes of environmental sustainability, technological innovation and building redevelopment. The conference discusses the relationship with the historical, cultural and urban context in which we live. The event has been organised to foster and develop a dialogue and a comparison between the Finnish and the Italian realities.
The conference is organised in cooperation with ATL – The Association of Finnish Architects’ Offices and with the patronage of the Embassy of Finland in Italy, the SAFA – Finnish Association of Architects, the Archinfo Finland – Architecture Information Centre Finland and the Italian Council of Architects.
