Architecture for Common Good Conference 12 November

The international architecture conference brings together decision-makers, experts and influencers of the built environment. As a part of the Finnish EU presidency programme, the event supports the recently launched programme work for a new architectural policy in Finland.

TUE 12 November 2019, 8.30–17.00

Held in Bio Rex, the conference’s keynotes and debates explore architecture’s potential to create common good by combining cultural, social, economic, environmental and technical perspectives to the built environment.

The conference day consists of three sessions:

Additional programme is offered in conjunction with the conference, for instance, International Conference on Creative Education and Architecture 10–11 November and excursion to Paimio Sanatorium (1933), designed by Alvar and Aino Aalto 13 November.
