The 4th Romanian Design Week takes place in Bucharest between 21 May and 5 June, 2016. This year, the exhibition discusses liveable cites and new ways of planning with special focus on the Nordic countries.
The Uusi Kaupunki (New Urban) collective, which is composed of 14 young Finnish architectural firms, represents Finland with the Dream Hotel project by Studio Puisto (2014). The hotel is an upscale extension to the popular Dream Hostel (2010) in Tampere. Studio Puisto developed a concept for temporary accommodation in empty offices and industrial buildings in a Uusi Kaupunki workshop in autumn 2013.
