Finnish school architecture and lecture event about the Pietiläs at Museo Oteiza, Navarro

The Oteiza Museum in Alzuza, Navarro (Spain) is hosting the travelling exhibition about contemporary Finnish school architecture. The Best School in the World exhibition, which has originally been curated by the Museum of Finnish Architecture, is open until 8th of February, 2015.

As a parallel event, Dr. Moisés Royo will lecture about Reima and Raili Pietilä and their notorious Dipoli building (1966) for the Otaniemi campus area in Espoo, Finland. Dr. Royo’s lecture event will take place at the museum on Tuesday, 27th of January at 19:00. Moisés Royo studied architecture as an exchange student in Finland in 2002. He defended his doctoral thesis on the Pietiläs’ Dipoli project [Pietilä: El Proyecto de Dipoli] at ETSAM School of Architecture Madrid in September, 2014.
