Architecture Information Centre Finland

Archinfo Finland (Architecture Information Centre Finland) makes Finnish architecture visible and known in Finland and abroad. It is an agile collaboration and intermediary organisation in the field of architecture. Through its activities the centre increases the social impact of architecture.

Archinfo Finland is one of the eight information centres in the arts supported by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture. The centre was established by five key architecture organisations  in Finland: the Finnish Association of Architects (SAFA), Foundation for the Museum of Finnish Architecture, Association of Finnish Architects’ Offices (ATL), Building Information Foundation (RTS) and Alvar Aalto Foundation.

Currently the contents of this website are mainly in Finnish language but the site is in the process of being transformed into a bilingual site. Archinfo Finland also administrates the online guide to Finnish architecture, navi.finnisharchitecture.fi, as well as the current English language site finnisharchitecture.fi, an online journal that looks into the phenomena around Finnish architecture.
