Known as the designers and keepers of the iconic Kulttuurisauna (Cultural Sauna) on the Merihaka waterfront in Helsinki, Tuomas Toivonen and Nene Tsuboi also run an educational programme, New Academy, focusing on architecture and urbanism. The programme consists of open talks, lectures, studios, seminars and publications.

On Tuesday 18 December, New Academy organises an afternoon seminar on housing, under the themes of ownership, building and architecture. This seminar is organised in collaboration with the Museum of Finnish Architecture and is a part of the ”Social Condenser” research project by New Academy and Dogma supported by the Finnish Cultural Foundation.
