The last week of August is for architecture and design in Tampere

This year Tampere Design and Architecture Week TADA is held on 24–31 August.

The programme includes an abundance of design, architecture, urbanism and living urban culture highlighting local as well as international expertise. Workshops, seminars, shows and exhibitions are organised for different age groups throughout the week.

This year’s theme is ‘identity’, which will be explored in the contexts of site and time, user experience and professional identity. See the full programme here.

Architecture and Cities in Transition seminar on 30.–31. Aug.

The week’s main event is the two-day seminar Architecture and Cities in Transition (ACT). The topic of the first day is ‘Identity in Architecture’ and the second day ‘Urban Identity’.
